KNOWTA: Wiki-Enabled Social Tagging for Collaborative Knowledge and Experience Management

Social tagging systems are a useful tool for collaborative knowledge management: They enable the flexible collection, annotation, organization, and distribution of resources and information. A combination with wiki systems then provides powerful but easy to use approaches for a broad range of applications. This paper describes a wiki-enabled social tagging system for knowledge and experience management, and presents its application using a case-study in the medical domain.
